Leadership Retreat 2023
1st of December | SRC - Publicity Portfolio
On Thursday the 24th of November, the newly elected Student Leadership Team of 2023 participated in a two-day retreat at Kiah Ridge in preparation for the year ahead. Collaboratively the team engaged in a number of icebreaker and goal planning activities led by next year’s Year 12 College Leaders. Although some of us were a bit nervous at the start, we slowly began to get to know one another, and everyone was successful in making foundational connections by the end of the two-day retreat.

It was such a huge pleasure getting to meet the new leaders of 2023! We all had a blast playing various icebreakers and each of them created opportunities to interact with the entire leadership team. It was clear at the end of the brief retreat that each Leader ranging from House Captain to SRC each had unique skills and talents to bring to the team.
During the retreat, we were privileged to have our college Principal, Dr Kennaugh, pay a visit and witness our Leaders of Wellbeing engage with each other in an intense ice breaker activity - which was very entertaining to watch! Although the time spent seemed short, we all achieved so much. Once the retreat had come to an end, we were ready to take on the challenge of 2023 and whatever it may bring.
We would like to extend our thanks to Dr Kennaugh, Fr. Kevin, Mr Frankham, Ms Cooper, Mr Leaves and the Kiah Ridge team for such an amazing opportunity.
