Teamwork Week
Last week in Week 9, St Andrews College celebrated Teamwork Week. The College's SRC planned games and activities associated with Teamwork, so students could participate and work collectively as a team during Learning Group.
It was truly incredible to see how enthusiastic the students were about Teamwork Week. Students were willing to step outside of their comfort zone to try something new and collaborate with their peers to attain the day's objective.
We noticed growth among the students as they came together to push through the challenges they encountered as a team. They were able to learn how to maximise working together so they could complete the daily challenges. And they banded together to assist one and another.
The SRC’s goal was directed so everyone could practise a minimum of one skill associated with teamwork. Some of the skills that students were able to gain were listening skills, communication skills, collaboration skills, and resilience.
On behalf of the College Student Leadership Team, we thank all the students for their involvement in this year's Teamwork Week.
