Vitality, Energy, and Wellness: Inspiring Healthy Habits for the St Andrews Community
On Tuesday, November 19th, the St Andrews community had the privilege of hosting a seminar led by world-renowned nutritionist Michele Chevalley Hedge. Michele’s engaging presentation offered invaluable insights into how we can all make healthier food choices to fuel our energy, brainpower, and overall wellness.
Focusing on the challenges that often impact teenagers, such as TBW (Tired But Wired) syndrome, Michele highlighted the critical role of nutrition in boosting brain function and sustaining vitality. She shared eye-opening information about the hidden sugars lurking in everyday foods and practical tips for making better choices to optimize our mental and physical health.
To ensure that the benefits of her talk extend beyond the seminar, Michele generously provided a QR code granting access to her presentation as well as a comprehensive Pantry Guide Ebook. We encourage all members of the community to explore these resources and use them as a foundation for healthier habits.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Michele Chevalley Hedge for sharing her expertise with our students and parents. Her passion for empowering young people to lead healthier lives resonated with everyone who attended.
Finally, thank you to the parents and students who joined us for this special event. Your commitment to wellness and engagement in our community events make opportunities like these truly impactful.
Here’s to a healthier, more energised community as we embrace these positive changes!
