Teamwork Week

Teamwork Week

In Term 1 Week 8 the College celebrated Teamwork Week as part of our Wellbeing Program. This was an opportunity for students to develop their teamwork skills as they participated in the various teamwork activities that were provided in the College. There were a variety of activities across the College including a Team Jersey Mufti Day (where students and staff wore their favourite sporting team jersey), LG photos, LG trivia and a LG Doubles Table Tennis Competition. Other teamwork activities also happened during Wellbeing lessons. It was wonderful to see the team spirit on display across the week.

Thank you to all the students who got involved and developed their teamwork skills and a big thank you to our SRC & House Captains who organised the activities.

Learning Group Doubles Table Tennis Competition

The Learning Group Doubles Tennis Competition was a great initiative by the SRC during Teamwork Week & ran on both Campuses (although it was a bit rain affected!). On the Junior Campus 20 teams signed up and it was great to see all year groups involved in the competition. The Grand Final was between 7C1 (Aaron Geevarghese & Paul Sewiha) and 8G10 (Jeremy Portelli & Rafael Vidovic) and proved to be a great showcase of doubles skills, played in front of a very supportive and encouraging audience. Congratulations to 8G10 – Jeremy & Rafael – who proved to be too good, winning the inaugural Learning Group Doubles Table Tennis Competition 13-12. Thank you to all 20 teams for being involved in our competition – we are developing a very strong table tennis culture!
