Clergy Changes in Our Parish
There have been some new Clergy appointments in the Parramatta Diocese which have a direct influence on our faith life here at St Andrew's College.
Monsignor Ron McFarlane will move to full time work in the Chancellery, which is the senior administration of a Diocese. Mons. Ron has been Parish Priest at the Parish of St Andrew the Apostle, Marayong for decades. We will have an opportunity to farwell Mons Ron later in the term in an appropriate way.
Fr Flor Apalias will be continuing his Priestly Ministry in our Diocese at Sth Mt Druitt and Emu Plains. Fr Flor has faithfully served our Parish and College for three years and we will miss him.
Fr Kevin Medilo SM has been appointed as the new Parish Priest at St Andrew's. Fr Kevin is a Marist Father and will be joined by two other Marist Fathers in leading the Parish. He has moved to Australia after most recently studying in Rome, especially in areas of Inter-faith dialogue. He was a Priest in Thailand for 11 years and was born and raised in The Philippines. We welcome Fr Kevin to Australia and to our College.
