Safeguarding Parishes Luncheon
‘The word on the street is everyone left with full tummies and smiles on their faces. The Year 12s did magnificently!” - Maria Kervin, Office for Safeguarding Diocese of Parramatta
On Wednesday 8th June 2022, theYear 12 Hospitality students had the opportunity to host and cater for the Safeguarding Parishes Luncheon. Our students stepped up to the task, showing the skills they have learnt in the VET Hospitality course, while also thoroughly enjoying the opportunity. The students were very excited to cater for the event and as a reward they were blessed to have the opportunity to meet Bishop Vincient.
The purpose of this event was to celebrate Safeguarding Parishes Week and recognising the Safeguarding Champions who are within the Diocese of Parramatta. Special thank you goes to Dr Kennaugh, Mrs Welch, Mrs Van Der Werf and Mr Maurer who helped to support us in this event to ensure it was a success.
