Dear Members of the St Andrews College Community,
We are four weeks into the Term now and I am seeing a great deal of focus from students and staff. Many learning activities are being offered to the student group and we are getting significant numbers taking up the challenges. One aspect of my role as Principal is visiting classrooms and witnessing the enthusiasm first hand. Keep up the good work everyone. Well done.

May, Memories, Mothers and Mary Reflection:
In our Catholic tradition, we set aside the month of May to acknowledge, remember and pray with Mary, the Mother of Jesus. In the month of May we also recognise bereaved mothers whose child or children have died and in Australia, we remember all the significant women in our lives on Mother’s Day. Whilst this is a day of great joy for some of us, for others, this is often not a day of celebration but a day of sadness, regret, pain and trauma. Looking through the eyes of a Mother I find myself wondering about these times, ‘Why just one day or one month?’ Ought we not celebrate, remember, pray, acknowledge every day? Is the Mother of God not worthy of my attention daily? As a mum and a daughter should I not be celebrating the miracle of motherhood, and if my journey is one of loss, sadness and pain – do I really want to be bombarded by the Hallmark cards, rosary crusades and all the advertisements and hype?
International Bereaved Mother’s Day – falls on the first Sunday in May, this day honours mothers who have lost a child/children. It is also a day to recognise women who cannot be a mother due to infertility or other reasons. These women suffer greatly every day and according to psychologists, losing or not being able to conceive a child is one of the worst traumas a human being can experience. When a child dies, a mother loses a piece of her own heart and the losses associated with the hopes and dreams in seeing that child reach their potential are real. Besides suffering psychologically and biologically, mothers face a host of other challenges. They might mourn the loss for many years. They may experience triggers from well-meaning questions like, “how many children do you have?” or, “how old are your children now?” According to studies, mothers who lose children are more likely to suffer from physical and mental health issues, if the grief is unprocessed. A bereaved mother will never again be able to hold that child in their arms, but they will forever hold that child in their heart.
When you have lost a child, Mother’s Day can feel like a Memorial Day. There is no English word for a parent whose child has died, no equivalent of ‘widow’ or ‘orphan.’ There are few people more invisible on Mother’s Day than the mother who has lost her child and her role as a mother. In the early days after a child’s death, joining in with other parents’ conversations about their children can seem to make people self-conscious and even the mention of your child’s name aloud, can cause some people to shrink away because your child has gone. However, this is the thing: Your child has not gone. The child who made you a mother has not disappeared. You are still a mother, and you can keep celebrating being your child’s mum. As resurrection people, we believe that in death, life does not end, it changes.
Acknowledging those who may grieve the loss of a Mother on Mother’s Day is painful. For those grieving the death or absence of their mother, feelings of longing, yearning, sadness, loneliness, depression, anger, bitterness, alienation and despair can rise to the surface. For many, the day becomes about just getting through. Obviously, there is no replacement for your mother or for the hopes, dreams and needs you might have because you have not had the mother you longed for.
Although Mother’s Day is secular in its origin, there is much that is sacred about the celebration of Mother’s Day. How fitting that we celebrate Mother’s Day on a Sunday, when we can offer gratitude to God for the many roles that our mothers and those who act as mothers to us play in our lives. Mary is the model of all mothers, she is also the first disciple, and there are many lessons we can learn from her about motherhood and being a disciple. While the Scriptures do not offer us much information about Mary, we can learn so much from her life.
She was a woman of deep prayer, who faithfully practised the ritual prayers of her Jewish upbringing and like most mothers, we know that Mary would have taught her son how to pray. Prayer was an essential habit to Mary, as a mother and disciple. Mary placed God’s will before her own. Her “yes” to the will of God to bear his son, Jesus, could not have been easy for a young, unmarried woman, yet Mary set aside her own desires to do what God asked of her, which is the definition of love. In learning to accept God’s will, Mary also learned to embrace challenges and difficulties. We also witness Mary’s strength at the crucifixion when, despite seeing her son tortured and brutally murdered, Mary remains at Jesus’ side until the very end. How insulting when we view women as feeble! Mary clearly illustrates the strength that women have, a quiet, yet fierce resolve that is necessary for all mothers and disciples.
The Month of May is set aside for the Mother of Jesus, Mary, who is the mother figure, most central to the Catholic tradition. Some statues suggest that she did nothing but gaze piously at the sky or out into the distance and I truly believe that we do her a great disservice by pretending that her life was idyllic and not messy like our lives. The truth and the connection, especially for mothers, is that she suffered the same push-pull emotions that all mothers do, delighting in her child’s growth yet knowing that every day brought her closer to his departure. Mary lived with a tension, as we do, she lived with the dreams and the pain and because Mary experienced the loss of her child, many bereaved mothers feel close to her. Mary was fully human, she endured bewilderment, confusion, disappointment and pain. She was no stranger to excruciating loss, she embraces those to whom Mother’s Day brings only nightmares.
In this month of May, in this Easter Season, let us remember, honour, and pray for and with all women, especially Mary the Mother of Jesus. Alleluia! Alleluia! He is Risen. Alleluia!

Creative & Performing Arts Showcase next Tuesday:
I am really looking forward to the Creative and Performing Arts Showcase on the Junior Campus next Tuesday. The time and effort that has gone into the preparation from both staff and students will be on show. Looking forward to seeing many parents, grandparents, and family members.
PDSSSC Cross Country Friday May 12:
Congratulations to all students who took part in the PDSSSC Cross Country last Friday. Congratulations on the way you represented the College and the way you cheered for each other. You have done yourselves and the College proud. Congratulations to Jake Parkes (Year 12) who will continue on to the Combined Catholic Colleges level in coming weeks.
CSDA Debating starting Week 2 Term 2:
The Debating season is into Week 3 now and we have dominated our opposing schools in the first two rounds. Congratulations not only goes to the competitors but also to the many students who attend in support roles such as Time Keepers and Chairpersons. We have had over 50 students assist each week we have hosted which demonstrates a great deal of school pride and commitment. We appreciate it immensely. Thank you to Ms Pett for her organisation and all staff who assist in preparation and adjudication.
Year 8 Drama Day:
Congratulations to Year 8 and the way they got into the Drama Day today. They showed a great deal of enthusiasm and aptitude. Thank you to Mrs Edwards, Ms Kelly and the teachers for their organisation and facilitation of the day.
Year 10 Immersion Day:
Congratulations to all the students who immersed themselves into our faith in action day today. The experiences were diverse and challenged them as young men and women. Thank you to Mr Clarke and the staff who organised and facilitated the experiences.
Toilet Renovations Senior Campus:
They are well underway with both toilet blocks due for completion before the Higher School Certificate commences. I have shown the Senior Student Leaders the proposed layout and we have made some minor additions based on their feedback. We are hoping for the first block to be finished in a couple of weeks.

Welcome to the start of Term 2.
Uniform
As of the start of Term 2, all students were expected to be in full college winter uniform. It is an expectation of the College that all students wear this uniform from the moment they leave home in the morning until they arrive at home in the afternoon.
As it gets colder students may want to add scarfs and gloves etc. Any scarf or gloves must be navy blue or black only. We have a College jumper and blazer and these are the only uniform that should be showing. If this is not enough, I suggest thermal undergarments that could be worn under the uniform. Any non-St Andrews uniform worn will need to be removed.
On sport days, students are to attend in full sports uniform, if they arrive in non-St Andrews uniform they will not be permitted to go to sport.
Every student is expected to have a St Andrews bag every day. Non-St Andrews bags will be left with their Leader of Learning for the day.
The student’s planners have a list of the requirements for uniforms. All students are expected to adhere to these rules.
Mufti day
Wednesday the 25th May is the allocated mufti day for the students. This day is to support the Teachers in East Timor.
Just a reminder that the expectation is that all students dress appropriately for the mufti and have all safety or subject gear for that day.
Breaches of Technology use at the College.
Students are expected to follow the guidelines for the use of technology that is ion the College Planner. We are seeing many students misusing their technology. If this happens parents will be sent an email making them aware of the breach of Technology. Three breaches of Technology will see a detention being issued to the child.
It is important that we all work together to ensure that the students use technology correctly. If you have any concerns please contact the Leaders of Wellbeing for your child’s year group.
What’s in the student planner?
One of the themes in the planner is ethical living. The students are asked to ponder, “How do I live my life ethically?” Living ethically means that you think and act positively towards your self and others, using your moral compass to help you make decisions, we try not to do things for personal gain and are my actions making me a better Christian person.
Ethical behaviours include, empathy, doing selfless acts of kindness, being honest, respecting others rights, listening to others, valuing our environments, doing what you say you are going to do and following through with your word.
Developing a growth mindset is one of the keys to developing resilience. Being optimistic and using positive self-talk is a key to developing a growth mindset.

Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Online Survey:
30 May to 1 July 2022
In our last newsletter we advised our community that we will be participating in the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) online survey for students, teachers, parents and carers.
The survey will provide us with valuable insights into what our school community thinks about school life including how engaged students are with school and the different ways that teachers interact with them. Schools in Australia and around the world use the Tell Them From Me survey to help them improve.
On Friday June 3 all students will be given the opportunity and time in class to participate in this survey. Students who agree to complete the survey will be given a random username and password to access and complete the survey online. Students’ names cannot be linked to their responses which allows it to be completely anonymous. Results will show all student scores combined together – it is not possible to single out individual students in the results.
Parents and carers will be able to participate using a link we will send to you separately. The survey takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes to complete. The survey measures include wellbeing, physical health, and behaviours and attitudes linked to student success.
Participation in the survey is entirely voluntary. If during the survey participants feel uncomfortable answering any question, it can be left blank or they can stop the survey completely at any time.

Sixth Sunday of Easter
This weekend we celebrate the Sixth Sunday of Easter. Jesus makes an extraordinary promise to his disciples, that he will never abandon anyone who loves him because God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, will make a home with anyone who loves Jesus and keeps his word. There are several elements to this presence. Firstly, the Holy Spirit, who is LOVE will teach us everything and remind us of all that Jesus said. Secondly, we will receive the gift of peace, a peace the world cannot give and thirdly, our hearts will not be troubled or afraid. This reality had never occurred before and so Jesus tells the disciples before it happens, so that when it does, they will believe.
As the Easter season draws to a close, the gifts and the power of the Holy Spirit is increasingly explored. The Holy Spirit is described as the Advocate, a person who assisted in the Law Courts in the time of Jesus. The Advocate made the person’s argument and helped them ‘win’. In terms of Faith, the Holy Spirit helps each of us to understand everything, to remind us of all that Jesus said and to recognise the different aspects of the truth and how that truth applies to the different parts of our lives. We can understand this, because the Father spoke a Word and that Word became the Son. The Father and the Son loved one another and that love became the Holy Spirit. Love completes and ties together all we know and do.
Remarkably, as we are faithful to God’s Word, then LOVE assists us to keep that Word and to be his disciples and witnesses by all that we say and do. As we are undertaking this, because of God’s presence in our lives, we are gifted with a peace, a peace that the world cannot understand or give. This gift of peace is not something naive or simplistic but something much more real and grounded. We are not troubled or afraid because we know God’s love and power in our lives and have confidence that as God dwells with us here, into eternity we dwell in God.
This mystery unfolds as we keep Jesus’ word and we are invited to see how our relationship with God changes everything because we love and are transformed by God dwelling with us.

Our College has been a hive of activity this Term. From our Staff Silent Retreat to our Mother’s Day Mass and Breakfast, to our Year 10 Faith in Action we have had students and staff engaged as “contemplatives in action” seeking a “faith doing justice”. As men and women for others, our faith, our shared humanity calls us to be the head, heart and hands of Christ on Earth. How do we do that? In our everyday ways with our everyday gifts.
I want to thank all students and staff who have “done more and are going beyond” to make these community and formational experiences so meaningful for us all as we become the wonders of God’s creation, finding our purpose and celebrating together as a Eucharisic people.

Mother’s Day Mass & Breakfast
St Andrew’s College hosted our first Mother’s Day Mass and Breakfast on Thursday 5 May, which saw over 100 in attendance. Celebrating our Mothers, grandmothers, aunties, carers and all matriarchs was a lovely thing to do. We look forward to making this a big celebration on the Thursday before Mother’s Day each year. Thanks to Fr Kevin Redmond SM for preparing such a beautiful Mass celebrating our mothers, and especially to Melissa Welch and Vicki Van Der Verwe for preparing the delicious breakfast for us all to share.






Vinnies Van
On Monday the 16th May, students of year 12 Wasim, Joanna, Angela, Aditi and Jayden joined teachers Andrew Hoare, Gino Ison and Grace Flaihan as we went out to serve those less fortunate in the community by volunteering on the Vinnies Van. It was an extremely rewarding evening as we provided sandwiches, snack packs, blankets and clothing to members of the community in Mount Druitt and Parramatta. It was great to meet and engage with the people we met on the run and we had some wonderful conversations. St Andrew’s College teachers and yr 12 students will continue their efforts to volunteer for Vinnies Van, which will be running on the third Monday of each month.

SAC YCS Update
YCS this term has been focusing on the social issue of Consent. The group has grown tremendously since its start last year in term 4. As a result, they have split into 3 groups focusing on different ways to raise awareness. We have groups doing posters, a live performance and TikToks.
YCS understands the sensitivity involved in the topic of consent. They have provided the group with resources and terminology to use in order to respect the sensitivity of the topic. Consent is a sensitive topic that has been viewed as taboo. However, YCS believes that awareness is fairness, and that every student deserves the right to understand how to give consent and accept consent. They have focused their action around consent education in friendships and relationships.
These actions will be presented to the school at the next senior assembly on the 27th of May.

Our First Term in Year 2022
Students in Year 7.7 RE had a great first term at St Andrew’s College. Our Unit this term focused upon our “Identity and Belonging” at St Andrews - “This is my school!” Below are some features of their learning as they settled into SAC this term.
Arriving at Secondary School |
Arriving at secondary school has been a somewhat bumpy ride. As Year 7’s we have persevered through a number of challenges and are now nearing the end of our first term with smiles. We have given our very best, facing obstacles with our heads held high. We have grasped the enlightening opportunities to highlight our individual talents that are harmonious in bringing our faith community as one. Turning the page and initiating another chapter of our lives is a staggering leap from primary. Nonetheless, as responsible and maturing students, we have adjusted to the new environment at a quick pace. As the year moves along, we will continue to look ahead with excitement, for what our future holds. As we walk along the stepping stones of success, we will follow St Andrew - being the Holy Children of God - by doing more and going beyond. |

“So Many things to do” |
Here at St Andrews College, we all feel welcome and cared for when we do extracurricular activities, go to out of school events and celebrate our faith at assemblies and Mass. The extracurricular activities show others our identity and who we are. The activities help us feel belonging at St. Andrews. This year, so far, we as a school community have joined many sport related/ extracurricular activities like volleyball, basketball and cross country. As a community we have also been doing other activities related to faith and religion like Liturgies, Fundraisers, Prayers and Masses. As our Catholic identity is a big part of our identity, we celebrate the Good News as a College community. At St Andrews, we value the great education and will strive for everyone to foster an education in wellbeing, intellectual knowledge and religious values/traditions. Other than the religious and sporting events, at St Andrews we also do fundraisers, mufti days and raffles. One mufti day was held to support people who were affected by the floods. |

Peer Support |
Peer Support is one of the many ways that St Andrews College helps its new students adjust to the school and build relationships with their peers. Peer Support takes place from Orientation Day of the Year 7’s to the end of Term 1. Once a week, in Peer Support, the Year 7’s work with the Year 10’s who assist them in coping with the change associated with moving to high school. During Peer Support, students engage in fun activities and work with other groups. The vast majority of the grade enjoys this period, as it is a safe and relaxing time for all students. Peer Support is a part of the school's Catholic mission to be an inclusive school community. Richard says “Peer Support is a great way to get involved in the school community whilst having fun.” Shaun says “ Peer support was great as it helped me endure the first term of high school.” Ysabella says “The year 10’s helped me a lot learning the ropes around St Andrews College.” |

Different Ways of Learning |
Over this unit, the St Andrew’s College community has been crucially influenced by the variety of styles in teaching. This has benefited through the community’s approach to learning in a positive way. The College teachers used many distinct ways to engage and teach students. Some examples include: - Making work entertaining by allowing students to use their interactive screens. - Creating a positive environment or atmosphere for the students to thrive in. - And, giving students opportunities which will increase their self confidence and allow them to easily flourish at the college. We are very grateful for the learning that we have enjoyed. |

Year 7 Camp |
We all know that camp is a really enjoyable event, our school St Andrews College strived to make a camp experience happen for the new found Year 7s and it was awesome. Everyone got to do a ton of fun activities such as kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, using a giant flying fox with our peers. While doing these activities, everyone got to bond with each other and people they didn’t know. Even though it wasn’t an overnight experience, we came and went back over a 2-day time period. At the camp, we had opportunities to be independent leading us into our future. This relates to God as he always wants us to succeed and take the best path in life. |

An Intentional Faith Community |
At St. Andrews College we care a lot about keeping and maintaining a relationship with God. We use the SPIRE framework as a guide of how we should live our everyday lives. SPIRE stands for Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Relational and Emotional. St Andrews College is an intentional faith community because it strives to help all students and teachers develop a relationship with God. In classes such as RE the teachers teach the students how to be good Christian people. Some examples of being an intentional faith community are the liturgies that St Andrews College participates in. We celebrate together as a College community, for example our Ash Wednesday Liturgy, Shrove Tuesday, and we will have many more during the year, such as Stations of the Cross today. |

Religious Education Unit |
At St Andrews, for our Religious Education unit, we have been learning about our Identity & Belonging the teachings of Jesus and how to be like him. This includes learning about Lent and Easter and how it is important in the Christian community. The things that we have been taught can be applied to our life by helping others in our community, which is part of Lent where we pray, fast and we give to others who need things more than us. We have taken what we have learned and transferred it into our faith life and our life to help the poor and needy. Another thing we have learned about is how to tell the difference between a flourishing learner and a non-flourishing learner and how we can be flourishing learners. |

Teachers from other schools commended our students on their professional presentation, their efforts and the number of students that we had compete as part of our Cross Country team. Miss Nikitotic was especially proud of student’s encouragement and support of one another. A special congratulations to Jake Parkes of year 12 who came 5th overall and as a result, will progress to the NSWCCC carnival
Thank you especially to Miss Nikitovic and Mr Weaver for your support and encouragement of the teams on the day. We are very proud of the students who attended. You were exemplar representatives of our College community and yourselves.
Thursday representative sport
Congratulations to all students who trialled for a Season 2 representative team and well done to those students who were selected. Some teams had over 40 students trial and coaches were so impressed with the level of skill and effort exhibited, finding it incredibly difficult to select a team.
Due to the rain, round 1 of games for our Netball and soccer teams has been delayed on week, with the competition now commencing in Week 5 (26th May). Details about draws can be found here https://www.secondarysportparra.catholic.edu.au/Thursday-Sport/Season-2
Parent/guardians have been sent information via Compass for when after school training takes place for each team. Training is a compulsory requirement for those a part of a representative team and parental consent is required for this.
Our teams have been training hard to prepare for the season and I thank their dedicated coaches for their time and commitment to prepare these teams.
Student sporting successes
Holley Manks (of year 12) & Amelia Manks (of year 8) were successful in being selected for the PDSSSC Softball team. The girls then went on to play at the NSWCCC Softball trials on Monday 16th May__________________
Harrison Green (of year 8) recently participated in the 2022 Sydney MS Mega Swim on Saturday 14th May - 15th May at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
Harrison and his team spent from Saturday 12 noon until Sunday 12 noon swimming laps for the 24 hours to raise funds for Programs and services to assist people living with Multiple Sclerosis. In total, they swam 89.3 mlm in 24 hours, raised over $11,000 and were awarded the MS Youth Award. What an effort, and for such a worthy cause! CAPA Showcase
On Tuesday 24th May, we will be showcasing the work of our Creative and Performing Arts students with a focus on Stage 5 Elective subjects. (Visual Arts, Music and Drama)
We welcome our St Andrews community to come and see the work of our students. The evening will start with a Stage 5 Art Exhibition in the Learning Centre, followed by Music and Drama performances. Light refreshments will be provided. We look forward to seeing our parents/carers and friends. Come along to vote for your favourite artwork in the inaugural St Andrews Archibald Prize!
Year 9 Visual Arts - The Archibald Prize
Year 9 students submitted their Archibald Prize unit paintings last Wednesday. Although many of the students communicated that painting isn’t their strong suit, they committed to the task with a growth mindset and many achieved pleasing results. We look forward to sharing these in person with you at our CAPA Showcase next week.
Artworks will remain on display in the Learning Centre after our Showcase for students to have the opportunity to view Year 9 artworks.

Year 9 Food Technology
Cake Decorating Incursion
On Wednesday 18th May, students in Year 9 Food Technology participated in a cake decorating incursion. Students learnt how to decorate cupcakes using fondant. This is a valuable skill and they will use this in their upcoming assessment task for Food Technology.
Students spent the day learning how to shape fondant to create a cake topper and made cupcake designs in the form of a bunny, a mushroom and a raccoon. Many cake toppers were made from fondant. Some designs included flowers, a bear and an owl.
We have been very blessed to have Rosemary from Cake Decorating Solutions, Arndell Park who has been delivering this workshop to us for many years at our College. We thank her for sharing her gifts, talents, tips and tricks to ensure we are able to achieve our Personal Best for our assessment task.
We also would like to thank Mrs Van Der Werf who helped organise and set up all our resources for this event as well as Ms Harwood and Mrs Rafique who continue to help us strive for our personal best in every lesson.
What's Cooking in Year 10 Food Technology
Year 10 Food Technology, have commenced a new unit called Food Service and Catering in this unit students will examine food service and catering ventures and their operations across a variety of settings and investigate employment opportunities. Food service and catering are important areas of the food Industry and account for a large amount of employment in our industry. Year 10 Students have completed the following recipes:
- Bruschetta and Garlic Bread Potatoes
- Vegetable Quiche
- Mini Lemon Meringue Pies
What's Cooking in Year 11 Hospitality
Year 11 have commenced a new unit of study “Kitchen Skills” in this unit students look at what is involved in preparation and making a variety of dishes. Some of the units of competency students are undertaking are preparing and serving sandwiches and simple dishes . Students have commenced preparing and serving sandwiches which include ham and cheese Pullman, BLT and an open sandwich. We have been impressed with their work so far, keep it up Year 11!
Year 10 Industrial Technology Timber
Year 10 Industrial Technology Timber students have completed their Trinket Boxes. This project provided students with a range of joining techniques and helped to further develop their skills in Timber.
Well done Year 10!






Year 8 Technology
Year 8 TAS classes have been working on their CO2 cars. Students have been learning about the principles of aerodynamics, friction and drag as they worked diligently to design and construct a functional CO2 car. Their aim was to make the fastest car.
They have produced some fantastic CO2 cars! Well done Year 8!
During Term 2, year 10 Child Studies class has been learning about Newborn Care. In Newborn Care, students have had the opportunity to practice some basic parenting skills. Mrs Borg brought some dolls to class that are the same size as a newborn and students have been learning such skills as wrapping a baby, how to change a baby's nappy and safe sleep practices.
Below are some thoughts from students in Mrs Borg’s class about this learning experience:
“I really enjoyed having hands-on opportunities to help us practise some basic parenting skills as simple as wrapping babies and changing their nappies. The baby dolls are roughly the same size of an average baby making it seem realistic.”- Kelsie Guerrero.

Important Message for Uniform deliveries in week 6
The warehouse is closed as of Friday 27/5/22 till Tuesday 7/6/22 (THERE WILL BE NO UNIFORM DELIVERY TO THE SCHOOL ON MONDAY 30/5/22, WEDNESDAY 1/6/22 and MONDAY 6/6/22).
Orders can still be placed via QKR app during this time and will be delivered to the school on Wednesday 8/6/22.

Uniform Ordering
Orders are to be placed on the ‘QKR’ app by MasterCard.
Delivery to the school is every Monday and Wednesday during the school term. Orders must be placed by 4:00pm Friday for delivery on Monday and 4:00pm Monday for Wednesday delivery. Please refer to the delivery dates on the QKR app before ordering for any changes.
We have also added a home delivery option and reduced the cost from $15.00 to $10.00 for parents who wish to use this option. (We strongly recommend this option as parents are not able to attend the school with the current restrictions).
For any parent who is wishing to pick up their order from Oz Fashions warehouse you must email Elle to organise pick up prior to going to Oz Fashions Granville.
Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection, however, we gladly exchange within 14 days.
Returned merchandise MUST be in its original condition with all tags still attached and accompanied by proof of purchase otherwise the exchange will not be honoured. Any item that has been worn will not be exchanged.

ACU Step Up Into Teaching
Step Up Into Teaching (SUIT) is an Australian Catholic University Early Entry Program run in collaboration with the CEDP and Sydney Catholic Schools. The program provides students considering a career in teaching the opportunity to experience learning in a university environment.
In the 2022-2023 SUIT Program students participating will have the opportunity to study one or two modules equivalent to university level units while completing their HSC studies.
Interested students must attend the Compulsory Information Evening held on Monday the 30th of May commencing at 5pm and concluding at 6pm. This event will be held at the Strathfield Campus and on Zoom. Interested students are asked to register by using the QR Code on the Information Night flyer below.
